Apparently you can dance as early as 7p.m.This dance is extremely crowded by 8p.m. This is strictly a social dance and attracts more singles than couples. The Saturday night dance (8:00p.m.-12:30a.m.) is popular among the 50+ crowd with a high percentage of singles attending to mix and mingle. The resident DJ, provides the dance with primarily social music with touches of international ballroom and Latin music thrown in for good measure. The weekly ballroom line dance series led by Carol Anne McCarthy is a fixture enjoyed by the regulars every Saturday night. A cold buffet is served at 9:30p.m. to sustain dancers for the rest of the night. Cost: $14 including buffet.
